Formal/Tradition Family Portraits
Okay so you would never do a portrait this wide, but I’ve done it to show you most of the poses available in this set. I’ve tried to design this set to meet all different kinds of family dynamics you may have in your game. Hopefully this set will help you in your future portrait taking needs. Below is a collection of different ways you could pose them for portraits.
Note: I also want to mention that teen 16 is floating in this pic, I’ve since corrected that. He is now the same height as teen 19R.
*30 poses (includes 2 bonus poses)
*snap together as designed
*you will need to use the move objects on cheat with the alt button on
your keyboard
Teen poses – 3, 11, 12, 16, 19R, 19L, and the bonus pose 22
Grandparents, two sets of parents and their children
Grandparents, one single mom and her children (no father in the picture) you can also make this a single father if you choose
No grandma, two parents and their kids
No grandfather, two parents and their children
Grandfather, his two sons and their families. You could also replace grandpa with grandma here. I would not use both as it would unbalance the pic.

Bonus Poses – I knew someone would ask for the mom holding the baby to be turned into a teen pose as well…..
which means this could be a Four Generation Portrait set if you so choose. This is baby pose #2 as the baby needed to be altered for the smaller teen frame.
However, the teen holding the toddler could also be a parent holding their child. Making this set a possible four generation family portrait, two different ways.
** Well dang, I’ve only now noticed when I slid everyone over, grandma’s knee ended up in the teen leg. I wanted everyone in tight and cosy for this pic. Sorry about that!

Thank you! Cool is perfect and made me feel really good. It was a lot of hours (weeks) but not as many as you think. I actually feel guilty as five of those poses are just basically standing there. I feel a bit of a fraud for doing that. They are slightly posed but nothing special about them. I’m curious to see what you will do with them for the last chapter. I’m sure it will be something clever and creative as always!

Its really just going to be a bonus… a nice wedding, as they’re always fun to do, well that’s the plan anyway…
but to my amazement, I’m still a few chapters away from this yet.
but in the last chapter, I just posted, you may be surprised what I used a few of your poses for
dizzy and I think one was from feeling sick poses and they are so good too and this new chapter of course only happened because of another pose of yours in the previous chapter
so that’s how good your poses are Bee

Awwww schucks! (pink cheeks and all) Thank you so very much! I will think about that every time I am frustrated with a set. I had a great idea I was going to do that might work for your wedding. Not a typical wedding pose. I will see if I can pop it off quick to show you. But not today. Today I am back again dealing with more of my mom’s estate and cleaning house…….does it ever end?!

there no rush Bee, It looks like I’m still 3 chapters away before I get to this chapter
Its posable the way I’m going I may be there 3 weeks, if I can keep this pace up…
but its all very difficult because I’m really pushing the bar to new high’s with the pictures
A cool new wedding pose will be great, thank you 🙂
And I’m sorry about your Mom, please try and look after yourself and dont forget to ask your family to help you if you need it, I know you must be really feeling exhausted having to do this. I’ve been through this myself and it takes time. but you will get there.

Overwhelmed and emotional. That is where I am at. I will see if I can get that done for you. It would be 3 poses, I can get to you, but would end up in a set later. Will do my best.

I do understand Bee and I’m so sorry.
there not a day goes by that I dont think about my Mum and sometimes I feel like I can even hear her calling me.
I find its good to talk about how you are feeling to someone, It really helps. but you have to do this when you are ready
but try to remember you are not alone and that you are very Important and your family all love you and I’m sure you are loved here too, Your very much like Kymber, without the both of you here looking after us all, it just wouldn’t be the same.

(Now to hope I set it up just like the pictures. 😜 But it will be a LONG while before I do a generational play. 😉 I’m downloading the amazing poses while I still can and yours lady, are the #1 BEST! ❤ )

Thank you Em! Keep in mind the purpose of this set was to be completely interchangeable, to suit your family dynamic. Hopefully, in the creation of this set, I covered everything a player needs to make a family portrait for their sims. A portrait pose set to end all portrait pose sets, kinda thing.

Dang!!! I can only imagine how long this must have taken you to do. This is wonderful and simply amazingly done. I am SO gonna have to use this for my big “Forever in Time” family. 🙂
